Scan from Photos
Choose an image with the system photo picker and PixelQR Scan will look for a recognizable QR code or barcode.
Create Codes
Create codes for websites, Wi-Fi, text, contacts, SMS, phone numbers, email, locations, and barcodes.
Style and Save
Apply simple foreground and background styles, then share the generated image or save it to your photo library.
Local History
Review scanned and created records on your device. Export history as CSV or JSON when you need a backup or report.

Long-press the app icon on the Home Screen to jump directly into scanning, creating codes, or viewing history.
Common Questions
Why does PixelQR Scan need camera access?
Camera access is used only to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera data is processed on your device.
Why does the app ask for location access?
Location access is optional and only used when you choose to create a QR code for your current location.
Where is my history stored?
Scan and creation history is stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export it.
Can I export my scan history?
Yes. Open History and use the export button to share your records as CSV or JSON.
What should I do if a code will not scan?
Try better lighting, keep the code inside the scan frame, clean the camera lens, or scan from a clear image in Photos.
Does PixelQR Scan require an account?
No. PixelQR Scan does not require an account, subscription, or server login.
Local First by Design
PixelQR Scan does not require an account and does not use advertising tracking. Camera scanning, image recognition, code creation, and history management are designed to work on your device. History is not uploaded to a server by PixelQR Scan.
